Project Overview

DGI recently completed a bus wrap for the Cultural Organization of Lowell. The Cultural Organization of Lowell or COOL was recommended to us by the Lowell National Historical Park a division of the National Parks Service. They were looking to involve and engage the community from the very concept of this project. It started with a contest among local artists to design the graphics for the bus. Once the winning design was chosen they came to DGI to turn the concept into reality.

We guided them through the process of how to translate 2-dimensional output onto a 3-dimensional vehicle with numerous complex curves and obstacles and end up with a finished piece that would serve to further their mission.

“The COOL bus is a mobile venue and event-maker.” These events take Creative entrepreneurs to the community to promote their wares.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our COOL bus project.  DGI was extremely knowledgeable and assisted us every step of the way. Our wrap project was a bit unique in that involved working with the design from local artist Frank Casazza of Eyeformation, and Trevor was extremely accommodating and conscious of the integrity of the design. He was able to point out any issues that would compromise the design layout, and we were able to adjust on our end. I also had the opportunity to watch the crew install the wrap, and was amazed at their process! It was great to see the bus come to life, and the community response has been fantastic.
