Account Manager

Job Summary:

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your main focus will be on building strong client relationships, understanding their audio-visual technology needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and building strong, long-lasting relationships.
  • Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges, and propose innovative audio-visual technology solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase our offerings and address client inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts, project managers, and support staff, to ensure seamless project implementation and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute account plans to identify opportunities for account growth and expansion.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and competitors to provide clients with valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, revenue quotas, and key performance indicators (KPIs) on a regular basis.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and other documentation as required.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience in the audio-visual contracting industry, preferably within a technology integration company.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients at all levels.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a consultative sales approach.
  • In-depth knowledge of audio-visual systems, installation practices, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with a strong drive to succeed.

 

Travel:

Occasional travel may be required to visit client sites or attend industry events.

 

Additional Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools to manage client information, track sales activities, and generate reports.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and client needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate challenges effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to delivering a positive client experience.
  • Availability to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate client meetings or deadlines.
