Project Overview

DGI completed a week-long installation at Mass General Hospital transforming the hallway that leads to their cafeteria from ho-hum to oh yum! A project that has been in the making for over a year, DGI worked with MGH and their designer to ensure that the final creative goal was achieved. DGI is no stranger to working with hospitals and the challenges they can pose: from after-hours installs, fire permits, safety details and precautions to working in the hospital environment. The project entailed over 1000 square feet of 3M IJ180 and 3M 8624 adhesive vinyl and hours of site inspections and installation.

It is a wonderful experience to have one’s vision realized and this truly does. It has transformed the hallway and the feedback is simply incredible. There is no doubt that it is the food place! The message says exactly what was intended-that within the walls you will find good, fresh, healthy, delicious food. How great is that! We learned a lot along the way. Working in a public space means lots of input from lots of points of view. Lucky for us we were able to articulate our idea and the folks from DGI demonstrated that the vision would be in keeping with the goals of the institution.
