Senior Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager oversees all phases of project execution, serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing communications, developing and executing project plans, overseeing budgets and invoicing, and ensuring timely completion in line with the scope of work and PMBOK best practices. Responsibilities:

  • ·Project Planning & Execution:
    • Lead multiple projects of varying size and complexity from initiation through completion.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans aligned with the statement of work (SOW), considering procurement timelines, resource availability, site readiness, and client milestones.
    • Adjust schedules as needed and communicate updates to ensure timely delivery.
  •  Financial Oversight:
    • Monitor project budgets, track financial performance, and ensure accurate invoicing.
    • Escalate budgetary concerns to leadership as needed.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
    • Provide consistent communication through status reports, meeting notes, and stakeholder follow-ups.
  •  Risk & Issue Management:
    • Identify potential risks and lead proactive mitigation planning in collaboration with internal teams.
    • Respond quickly to project issues to minimize negative impacts and maintain momentum.
  • Change Management & Documentation:
    • Manage projects according to the agreed-upon scope of work.
    • Lead the change order process when adjustments are required.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including weekly reports and stakeholder action items.

 

Accountability:

Reports directly to the Director of Operations, with potential secondary accountability to other members of the leadership team.

 

Qualifications:

    • 0+ years of experience managing technology and construction projects.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field.
    • PMP certification required; CAPM and/or RTPM preferred.
    • CTS required; CTS+ preferred.

    • Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of handling high-pressure deadlines.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.

 

Travel:

  • Local and domestic travel required.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be necessary.

 

Physical, Mental, and Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure environments while upholding DGI’s values.
  • Tasks may involve standing, sitting, walking, reaching, carrying, and use of manual dexterity.
  • Must be able to adapt to varying noise levels and occasional outdoor work with seasonal temperature changes.
